This year’s Space Weather Users Forum was held

National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) holds the “Space Weather Users Forum” to exchange information with space weather users. This forum started in 2003, and this year, the thirteenth forum was held on August 30, 2018 at Miraikan. After the space weather mini-lecture and overview of the space weather phenomenon which were explained by NICT researchers, the 3 invited speakers lectured about paleomagnetism, the utilization of space weather information in the weather business, and the prediction of next solar cycle. In addition, as a new attempt, the space weather forecasting meeting was live broadcasted, and it enabled to see the forecasting meeting which could not be seen for users normally.
