This website is a space weather information service, operated by the Space Environment Laboratory, Applied Electromagnetic Research Institute in the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).

Since 1949, we have delivered the space environment forecast and alert continuously for over years. Since 1988, the space weather forecasting project has started. We have been played a role as the regional warning center of the International Space Environment Service (ISES) since 1996. Furthermore, we also started to provide space weather information on HF communications, GNSS positioning, and radiation exposure as the only Asian center of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) space weather centers since 2019.
